Mike Smerklo is the Chairman and CEO of ServiceSource (NASDAQ: SREV). Under his direction, ServiceSource has grown from a groundbreaking idea into a publicly-traded company that is the market leader in Service Revenue Management. Mike is committed to advancing ServiceSource's laser focus to deliver innovative and market-leading service revenue management solutions for technology-based companies, increasing customers' recurring service revenue, profits and end-customer loyalty. Under Mike's leadership, ServiceSource has pioneered and is the market share leader in the emerging service revenue management category, with over $7 Billion of recurring service revenue under management across multiple vertical markets, including hardware, software, healthcare & life sciences and building systems. Prior to ServiceSource, Mike has held executive positions at Opsware (previously Loudcloud), Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. Mike holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he graduated with distinction. He also holds a BS in Business Administration from Miami University. In addition to serving as Chairman of the Board of Directors for ServiceSource, Mike is active in Young Presidents Organization (YPO), sits on the Board of the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation and is a regular speaker at industry events. Mike also founded and chairs the Service Executive Industry Board (SEIB), an independent industry board created to share best practices, address issues and shape the future direction of service revenue management. He has also been recognized for his vision and leadership by Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Forbes Magazine, The San Francisco Business Times and The Wall Street Journal, just to name a few.
